Kathmandu: A petition has been filed in the Supreme Court against Kathmandu Metropolitan City Chief Balendra Shah (Balen) for contempt of court.
Advocate Varsha Kumari Jha has filed a contempt of court petition against Metropolitan Mayor Shah in the Supreme Court. The court of Judge Prakash Kumar Dhungana has been appointed to hear the petition.
Advocate Jha claimed that Shah's comments regarding Patan's High Court's order to allow Hindi films to run showed contempt for the court.
