KATHMANDU: The contempt of court case registered in the Supreme Court against the head of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Balendra Shah (Balen), has not been sent for hearing.
On Sunday, Judge Prakash Kumar Dhungana's bench was scheduled to hear the contempt of court writ petition filed against advocate Varsha Kumari Jhale Balen last Friday. However, it was not sent to see.
It has been claimed in the writ petition by the advocate that Balen's statement regarding the High Court Patan order regarding Indian films is contempt of the court.
