The Justice Council meeting ended without a conclusion

Kathmandu: The meeting of the Judicial Council on Monday ended without any conclusion.

The meeting held under the leadership of Chief Justice Harikrishna Karki regarding the appointment of judges ended inconclusively. For a long time, the Supreme Court was without a Chief Justice.

Karki, who was recently appointed as the Chief Justice, held a meeting of the Judicial Council to appoint a judge. However, it ended inconclusively.

There are 6 vacant posts in the Supreme Court, 41 including 6 Chief Judges in the High Court and 35 in the District Court.
