Kathmandu: The Airline Operators Association has said that the air fare will increase by 6 percent. It is said that the fare will increase as the air service company will be registered for VAT from July 1st.
According to the association, the price increase imposed by the government will be added to the current rent rate.
"Airline companies will collect value added tax by including it in the air fare rate, effective from July 1st," the announcement has been issued. According to businessmen, it is about 6 percent in all distances.
