Kathmandu: An inquiry committee will be formed to study the Manang Air helicopter accident that killed 6 people on Tuesday.
On Tuesday morning, a helicopter with the callsign NineNA-MV flying from Surke in Solukhumbu to Kathmandu was found in an accident in the Lamjurapas area. All six people on board the helicopter died.
Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation Minister Sudan Kirati informed that an investigation committee will be formed to study the same accident.
Speaking to the media after the Nepal Vidyapati Maithili award ceremony held in Janakpurdham on Tuesday, he said that an investigation committee will be formed to study the helicopter accident. According to him, an inquiry committee will be formed by Tuesday or Wednesday.
When the helicopter crashed, five Mexican citizens died and one Nepali Captain Chet Gurung died.
