Kathmandu: A meeting was held between Chief of Army Staff Prabhuram Sharma and Deputy Secretary General of the United Nations Department of Peacekeeping Operations Jan P Lakhwa.
Directorate of Military Public Relations and Information said that during the courtesy meeting held at Military Headquarters, Jangi Adda, they discussed bilateral interests and mutual interests.
Deputy Secretary General Lakhwa, who is on a four-day visit to Nepal, was welcomed at the Tribhuvan International Airport by Deputy Secretary General Yograj Sharma and representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to the directorate, Myanmar's non-resident military adjutant for Nepal, Ye Tutley, had a courtesy meeting with Commander-in-Chief Sharma today.
