Kathmandu: Dhangadhi sub-metropolitan city has presented a budget of 1 billion 938 million 24 thousand 218 rupees for the financial year 2080/081.
Kandakala Kumari Rana, deputy head of the sub-metropolitan city, presented the next year's budget in the 10th Municipal Assembly on Sunday. The presented budget has been passed by the Municipal Assembly.
In the estimated budget presented by Rana, the total expenditure is 1 billion 17 crore 44 lakh 97 thousand 63 rupees while the capital expenditure is 75 crore 63 lakh 27 thousand 155 rupees.
In terms of income, internal income is 35 crore 43 lakh 20 thousand 218 rupees, revenue sharing is 46 crore 97 lakh 92 thousand rupees, 92 crore 85 lakh from inter-government financial transfer (Government of Nepal), inter-government financial transfer (provincial government) 5 crore 32 lakh 12 thousand Deputy Chief Rana mentioned that the total income is estimated at Rs.

9 crore 65 lakh 93 thousand 817 (5.00 percent) for economic development, 85 crore 36 lakh 5 thousand 222 (44.20 percent) for social development, 36 crore 83 lakh 74 thousand 194 (19 Deputy Chief Rana said that 5 crore 65 lakh 55 thousand 59 (3 percent), 55 crore 56 lakh 95 thousand 926 (28.80 percent) budget has been allocated for administration and interrelated.
