Manoj Satyal elected president of Parliamentary Affairs Journalists Society

Kathmandu: Manoj Satyal has been elected as the President of Parliamentary Affairs Journalists Association. Satyal was elected as the president in the 8th session of the society held today. Along with Satyal, Vishnu Khadka and Tulsi Sapkota contested for the post of president.

Jaisingh Mahara was unopposed as the General Secretary. The elected Satyal got 64 votes. Similarly, Khadka got 44 and Sapkota got 27 votes. Kiran Dahal and Srijan Ghimire were unopposed in the Vice-Chairmanship. Similarly, Amul Thapa was elected unopposed as treasurer.

Savita Sharma (Samaveshi) and Gunjanraj Giri were elected as secretaries. Raju Thapa, Kamalraj Bhatt, Roman Acharya and Raghunath Bajgai were elected as central working committee members, while Anjana Lamichhane and Mira Basnet were elected as inclusive. Sila Timilsina was elected for photography and Vinod Katuwal for video.
