Kathmandu: The Nepali Army has planted trees within the community forest and a community school located in Rautahat.
Under the coordination of Veer Dal Gana Gaur, tree plantation was done on Saturday under Rangpur Partnership Forest and Chandrapur 7 Naya Basti Basic School under the slogan 'Think for progeny, plant trees for prosperity and greenery'.
300 saplings of Malaysian sal, spices, etc. were planted inside the school, said Ganga Bahadur Bista, chief soldier of the Nepalese army.
The coordination of Virdal Gana, Division Forest Office, Oxfam Nepal, RDC Nepal and the joint project of local people's representatives and security agencies in the tree planting program included Senani Ganga Beast, Mayor of Chandrapur Sanjay Kumar Kafle, Chief Deputy Secretary of Area Administration Chandrapur Jharendra Chapagain, Chief of Division Forest Office Rautahat Sunil Karna and others. Representatives of various organizations were present.
