Kathmandu: Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has congratulated and wished Arpan Sharma, who is known as Memory King.
In a meeting held this morning at the Prime Minister's residence, Baluwatar, Prime Minister Prachanda congratulated Sharma for making Nepal's name known to the world and wished him more success in the future.
Sharma has set a world record by memorizing the order of 83 items in one minute. He attributes it to his meditation, sadhana and 'memory technique'. Sharma, who has decided to set more world records, has also been training students to improve their memory.
Sharma, who has set the second world record in the category of memory, is preparing to set the third record soon. Earlier in 2015, Sharma entered the Guinness Book of Records by memorizing the order of 42 items in one minute.
Speaking, Sharma said, "Feeling that this world record certificate belongs not only to me but to all Nepalis, there is a plan to spread the name of Nepal to the world by holding more world records in the future."
