KATHMANDU: The government has announced a public holiday across the country next Thursday. According to the notification issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs on Tuesday, it was decided to give a public holiday on Thursday, 14th June, on the occasion of Bakr Eid, the festival of Muslims.
According to the notice published in the Nepal Gazette dated 12/02/2079, the festival of Muslims, Bakr Eid (Eid-ul-Azha) V.No. This notification has been published for the information of all concerned as it has been decided to make Thursday 14th June 2080 a public holiday,' said the notification issued by Kedarnath Sharma, spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
